The Planning & Administration Division is responsible for a variety of functions that support the general operation of the Carmel Police Department.

A few support functions include Records, Public Information, Police Chaplains, School Resource Officers, Accreditation, Crisis Intervention Unit, Recruitment, and Strategic Planning.

The Planning & Administration Division also oversees all of the Community Resource Programs.
