The Home Place Advisory Board was created as a result of the annexation of Home Place, Ordinance No. C-264 per Indiana Code 36-4-3-8.1. The board advises the City of Carmel should excess money remain in a special property tax fund designated to be invested in the Home Place area.

Initiatives, Goals, Accomplishments

  • Helped organize open house reception after annexation in February 2019

  • Coordinated increased distribution of Carmel Current in Home Place

  • Advocated for Carmel funds for Home Place sculpture at 106th and College roundabout

  • Serves the Home Place community as a forum for addressing issues and directing resources to Home Place
