In an effort to engage young residents in leadership and service opportunities, Mayor Finkam is inviting Carmel 5th graders to deliver her reports to the City Council during their bi-monthly meetings.

Do you have a 5th grade student interested in government or public speaking? If so, please email mayor@carmel.in.gov with the subject line: Deputy Mayor: (Student's Name).

In your email, include the following details:

The Mayor’s Office will follow up to schedule your student for the next available City Council meeting. Meetings begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. on the first and third Mondays of each month (excluding city holidays). We ask that your student arrive by 5:45 p.m. to meet Mayor Finkam and some of the City Councilors.
