Schedule of Fines and Costs – Effective 1 July 2015
The schedule below shows the fines and costs for each charge. You must pay the total amount for the first ticket and only the fine amount for any additional ticket received. Costs are set by the State Legislature and must be paid whether or not you appear in court (unless your case is dismissed or you are found not guilty). The schedule below shows the fine and court costs that you are eligible to pay before your court date.
The fine for each offense that is not listed below is $35.50. You must also pay the court costs of 139.50. The total for one ticket (unless the offense is listed below) will be $175.00. If you have (an) additional ticket(s), you must add on the fine of $35.50 for each additional offense.

Persons under 18 years of age must appear with a parent or legal guardian.
Any offense for which you are told to personally appear by the arresting officer or court personnel.
These fines specified above may not be applicable if convicted after trial. The law for moving violations provides for fines from $0.00 – $10,000.00 and possible license suspension for 30 days or more. NO PERSONAL CHECKS OR COMPANY CHECKS.
